Disney has announced that effective September 15, 2008 the Disney Dining Experience program will henceforth go by the name Tables in Wonderland.
Last month Disney announced its dining plan alternatives and pricing for 2009. Among the new products is a Quick Service Dining Plan which offers daily meal credits for use at fast food locations throughout Walt Disney World.
Initially there was no indication as to whether Disney Vacation Club members would be eligible to participate in this plan. Now it appears we have that confirmation.
Here is a summary of the Dining Plans being offered by Disney for 2009, along with pricing and links to official brochures for the respective plans. Note that there is currently no indication as to whether or not Disney Vacation Club members will be able to take advantage of the Quick Service Dining Plan.
Disney has priced its Quick Service dining plan (two counter service meals, two snacks, refillable mug) at $29.99 per adult, per night and $8.99 per child, per night. Website Allearsnet.com has a complete rundown on all dining plan options being offered in 2009.
Note that Disney Vacation Club has not yet announced whether members will be able to add the Quick Service dining plan to reservations, but both the standard and deluxe dining plans have previously been offered to members.
In his Orlando Sentinel blog, Scott Powers has confirmed rumors that Disney will create a new variation of the Magic Your Way Disney Dining Plan (DDP) in 2009. We also have some early information on 2009 pricing for all of the dining plans.
