Common room request notes for Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel:

• Odd numbered rooms x501 to x513 overlook the pool
• Even numbered rooms x500 to x510 and x520 to x522 face Disney California Adventure
• Even numbered rooms x514 to x518 face Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
• Rooms facing the theme park can be very loud during the nighttime show
• Rooms facing the pool have some view of high level fireworks from Disneyland

Common room request notes for Disney's Old Key West Resort:

Near Hospitality House

• Room will be in one of the following buildings: 11, 12, 13, 14, 23, 24, 25, or 26 
• None of the buildings have elevators; request ground floor if unwilling to use stairs

Standard (not "Near Hospitality House")

• Only buildings 62, 63, 64 have elevators and are typically reserved for guests with mobility issues
• Request ground floor if unwilling to use stairs
• South Point is furthest from Hospitality House
• Turtle Pond area has largest "quiet pool" with quick service dining that operates seasonally
• Buildings 15-19 offer shortest walk to Hospitality House and main pool
• Buildings 45, 46, 55 have pleasant view of canal leading to Disney Springs
• Buildings 30-64 have additional door to master bathroom in 1 and 2 Bedroom Villas allowing easier access for guests sleeping in living room

Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort ViewFinder

• Rooms typically have either a water / marsh view or wooded view of the resort interior
• Buildings 23-26 are around the main pool and may be subject to more noise than others
• Buildings 14, 15, 16, 19, 25, 28 and 30 are very close to guest parking

Jambo House Value

• Value rooms are the smallest 4-person DVC Studios
• Even numbered rooms 5110 to 5136 have a savanna view; all others are pool or parking lot view 

Jambo House Standard

• Most Standard View rooms overlook the pool
• A small number of subpar Savanna View rooms have been reclassified as Standard

Jambo House Savanna

• All rooms are on the resort's 5th floor
• Savanna View rooms overlook either the Arusha Savanna in the middle of resort, Sunset Savanna to the west or Uzima Savanna to the east

Jambo House Club

• All club level rooms are on the resort's 6th floor
• There are only 10 club level rooms; 5 Studios and 5 One Bedroom villas
• 60% of the rooms overlook Sunset Savanna; 40% overlook the pool

Kidani Village Standard

• Most Standard View rooms overlook the pool or parking lot
• A very small number of Standard View rooms are located in a narrow part of the Pembe Savanna to the west

Kidani Village Savanna

• Most Savanna View rooms face the Sunset Savanna at the resort interior
• Some Savanna View rooms overlook the Pembe Savanna to the west

Disney's Riviera Resort ViewFinder

Common room request notes for Disney's Riviera Resort:

Standard View

• Standard View rooms all face in the general direction of EPCOT and should have some view of nighttime fireworks
• Odd numbered rooms xx25 to xx35 have the most direct view of EPCOT
• Standard View rooms also overlook the parking lot and Buena Vista Drive 

Preferred View

• Preferred View rooms generally face toward the resort pools, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Barefoot Bay
• Odd numbered rooms xx07 to xx17 are the only Preferred View villas which may have some view of EPCOT fireworks

Aulani Resort ViewFinder

Common room request notes for Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa:

Standard View

• Most Standard View rooms overlook the parking garage facing northwest toward the island
• All are on floors 7 and below
• Two Standard Grand Villas are located on floors 2 & 3

Island Gardens View

• Odd numbered rooms xx71 to xx81 may have some partial view of the ocean
• Other island view rooms are located on lower floors with obstructions from vegetation or on upper floors facing northwest in toward the island

Poolside Gardens View

• Pool view rooms are all located on floors 1-5 in the courtyard surrounding the pool
• May be some obstructed view of the ocean from the higher floors

Ocean View

• Aulani rooms have angled and traditional non-angled balconies to provide a better view of the ocean.  The traditional non-angled balconies are rooms xx50 to xx68.
• Even numbered rooms xx60 to xx68 have the most direct view of the ocean
• All Ocean View Grand Villas are located on endcaps of the buildings and face directly at the ocean
