Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort has a number of significant refurbishment projects scheduled to run from now until the spring of 2009. Included are paving, painting and roofing projects within the facility.
Following is a summary of the projects Disney has scheduled over the next several months:
The villas will be painted and any necessary roof repairs completed. This project is already underway and is expected to run until approximately April 12, 2009.
From November 10 to 15, 2008, the entrance roadway bridge will be repaved. During this period only one lane will be open and guests may experience delays entering or exiting the resort.
Finally from December 1 to 15, 2008 the lobby and Big Murgie's Den will be refurbished. An alternate check-in location will be temporarily created. Pool tables will be unavailable during this period.
