On September 20, 2018, Disney declared 12 more vacation homes for the Disney Vacation Club inventory at the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This is the sixth declaration that Disney has made for Copper Creek since the initial declaration was made before sales began in March 2017.
The 12 newly-declared vacation homes include two lakefront cabins, one dedicated one-bedroom villa, six dedicated two-bedroom villas; and three lock-off two-bedroom villas. The 10 villas are all located on the sixth floor of the DVC wing in the Lodge.
Copper Creek now has 123 of its 184 vacation homes declared for the DVC inventory. DVC members can use their points to book the 123 vacation homes. The 61 undeclared vacation homes are still under the control of Disney, which can use those accommodations however it wishes. Undeclared villas cannot be used by Disney Vacation Club owners to book using points.
So far, the DVC inventory at Copper Creek includes the following accommodation types:
10 - Dedicated Studios
17 - Dedicated One-Bedroom villas
29 - Lock-off Two-Bedroom villas
46 - Dedicated Two-Bedroom villas
3 - Three-Bedroom Grand Villas
18 - Cabins

In terms of points, this latest declaration is the equivalent of 252,835 DVC points. The DVC inventory now accounts for 2,461,845 points, or 74.1% of Copper Creek’s 3,321,220 total points.
Before Disney can sell DVC points to the general public, it must first declare and add the points to the DVC inventory. Sales for Copper Creek have increased significantly since the first of the year, averaging well over 140,000 a month. If sales continue at the current pace, the latest declaration of 252,835 points should furnish Disney with enough inventory to support sales for about two months.
