A few weeks ago we gave you a glimpse of some snazzy mini-programs (aka Widgets) that were being readied for distribution on DVCMember.com. Now we have the first indication that Disney is...trying...to release them to members.
DVCMember.com actually lists the widgets in a "news" menu, but the link associated with the text is non-functional. To view the link, log into DVCMember.com and click on "News" followed by "Disney Vacation Club News." One of the items in the list of news items reads "Customize Your Desktop With Disney Widgets." 
Unfortunately there is no story or downloadable associated with that link.
Among the widgets reportedly in the works were an RSS newsreader, letterhead printer, countdown clock and a trivia game.
UPDATE: Three of the four Diney Widgets reportedly in development have been posted to DVCMember.com. The available widgets are a Vacation Countdown, Game Oasis (AKV trivia game) and Stationary Maker. They are available in both PC and Mac compatible versions.
To download the widgets, log onto DVCMember.com and look under "Member Priviledges" for the "Member Widget Gallery."
