The offical Disney Vacation Club website will not be able to process annual dues payments for several days as 2018 information is loaded. Here is everything you need to know about the 2018 dues.
The deadline for paying 2018 Annual Dues in full is Janary 15, 2018. DVC does provide a 30 day grace period, after which they may restrict members' ability to secure reservations or check-in for booked stays if payment is delinquent.
Members can schedule the yearly dues to be paid in 12 monthly interest-free installments. Payment must originate from a U.S. checking or savings account. Contact member accounting for details.
If ad valorem tax collections were under-estimated for 2017, expect the first payment of 2018 to include the full difference required to bring taxes up to date. For example, if the actual 2017 tax bill was $600 for a given owner, but DVC only budgeted and collected $550, the additional $50 will be added to the January 2018 payment total.
However, if '17 tax collections were over-estimated, the refund is typically spread equally over all 12 months for owners making monthly payments.
Annual Dues payments can be made by visiting DVCMember.com and clicking on "My DVC Membership" then "Annual Dues." Note that this feature will be unavailable from December 15-18 as the 2018 information is loaded to the site. The full service notice is as follows:
In order to prepare for 2018 Annual Billing, Member Accounting will be unable to process any Annual Dues payments beginning at noon Eastern Time on Friday, December 15, 2017. Annual Dues payments will be accepted again when Member Accounting reopens at 9:00 AM on Monday, December 18, 2017. Please note that the Online Annual Dues payment system will also be unavailable during this time. All other online tools will remain available during this time, including Loan information and payments.
Accepted payment methods include credit card, Disney Gift Card and Chase Disney Visa Rewards Card.
