Two-Factor Authentication Returns May 24

DVC Policies & Procedures

Beginning May 24, 2023, Disney Vacation Club members will be required to enter a code sent via email or text message in order to access certain information in their account.

Two Factor Authentication

In order to improve security on the DVC members-only website, Disney is implementing two factor authentication beginning May 24. In addition to a username and password, members will be sent a unique 6-digit security code via email or text message which must also be entered before site access is granted.

This level of authentication will be required only when accessing loan information on the members-only site.

Members should check their account profile to make sure that email and cell phone contact information is current. Check out our prior coverage for additional details

As part of this system update, Disney is also removing self-service tools which allow members to update their website password. Going forward, password resets can only be initiated by contacting DVC Member Services at 800-800-9800.

In late 2022 Disney Vacation Club briefly rolled-out the two-factor login process. However, technical issues forced them to remove the feature a short time later.
