The Disney Vacation Club has a referral program which allows some current members to receive rewards for introducing new customers to DVC. What was once a multi-step paper handling process is now contained largely within the DVC member website.
According to information posted on DVCMember.com, members who have successfully referred new customers to DVC will now be notified of their rewards via email. Upon receipt of the email, the member can log onto the website and immediately elect how they wish to receive the reward. Redemption options include Annual Dues credit, credit toward addition DVC purchase, Disney Gift Card or Prepaid Visa card.
Members who do not have an email on file with DVC or who do not redeem their reward within 21 days of being notified via email will be mailed the paper redemption certificate.
Once the redemption option has been selected, it may take up to 7 weeks to receive the reward.
