Another closure is scheduled at Disney Vacation Club member services as computer system maintenance is performed.
Disney Vacation Club Member Services will be closed until 11:00am eastern on Thursday, October 17. Computer system maintenance is the stated reason for the delayed opening. Member Services normally starts its business day at 9:00am eastern.
During the maintenance window, online reservation functions at DVCMember.com will also be unavailable.
Note that 11:00am is the target for resumption of operations , but the system outage may extend further if necessary. No details have been provided regarding the nature of the downtime.
Disney has spent the last several years reconfiguring and enhancing systems as it builds toward the launch of its My Magic+ program. By the end of October, all Walt Disney World resorts will have tested the resort-wide technology initiative. The program is expected to officially launch before the end of 2013.
