Disney Vacation Club owners can be among the first to experience Disney Cruise Line's latest ship.
From January 5-10, 2028, Disney's latest cruise ship Believe will host a "first wave" cruise experience exclusively for DVC members. The ship departs out of Fort Lauderdale on a 5 night voyage that includes stops at both Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, along with a day in Nassau, Bahamas.
Costs are still to-be-determined. During prior first wave cruises, options were available to book the sailing using either Disney Vacation Club points or cash. Owners must qualify for Membership Extras in order to participate, and points used for the trip must be eligible for DVC exchange options.

Reservations for the Disney Believe first wave cruise will take place on November 21, 2026 beginning at 10:00am eastern.
Disney recently revealed full details on the design and theming of the new ship. Disney Believe is the same class of ship as recent vessels including Disney Wish, Treasure and Destiny. Among the features of this new cruise ship are:
- Rotational dining at Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, Worlds of Marvel and 1923
- The popular Haunted Mansion Parlor bar and lounge
- Wishing Well, a lounge inspired by 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'
- A brand new stage show Disney Encanto, along with Tangled: The Musical and Disney Seas: The Adventure
- Sea Notes: a piano bar inspired by Ariel's Grotto
- The new entertainment hub Gazelle, inspired by the Disney animated film 'Zootopia'

The ship is set to launch on its maiden voyage December 18, 2027. It will run a series of 4 and 5 night sailings out of Ft Lauderdale. Cash reservations begin October 12 for Castaway Club Pearl members, followed by other club levels. Disney Vacation Club owners can begin booking standard voyages on Friday, October 16, 2026.
