The new Frontierland Disney Vacation Club member lounge has officially been dubbed McKim's Mile House - A Member Lounge.
Disney Vacation Club has released the first details and concept artwork for the first Magic Kingdom-based member lounge. McKim's Mile House - A Member Lounge is set to debut sometime in summer 2025. It will follow a similar pattern to other lounges, featuring comfortable seating for guests, wireless internet, recharging stations for electronic devices and free beverages and snacks.
The name is a nod to former Imagineer and Disney Legend Sam McKim who helped influence the design of Frontierland. It is located in the former location of the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade.
Operating days and hours are to-be-determined. Only DVC owners who qualify for Membership Extras may visit the lounge. A member may be accompanied by up to 4 guests.
Last month Disney Vacation Club announced a new paid benefits program which will provide reduced wait time to enter each of the members-only lounges. The capacity of the new lounge is not known. However, its prominent location within the most visited theme park in the world suggests that a waiting list for entry could be commonplace.
