REMINDER: Disney Treasure Charter Cruise Booking Happens Saturday, October 14

Member Benefits and Perks

Expect busy phone lines as Disney Vacation Club Member Services agents spend the day helping owners book the "First Wave" sailing on the Disney Treasure

Disney Cruise Line Treasure Reveal 1

On Saturday, October 14, 2023, qualifying members can book the third ever sailing of the cruise ship Disney Treasure, a charter cruise exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members. From 10:00am until 6:00pm, Member Services will only be assisting members booking the cruise, along with individuals who are within 5 days of their arrival for an upcoming trip. Members seeking assistance with other issues are asked to use the self-service tools on the DVC website or to call back when Member Services reopens at 9:00am on Sunday, October 15.

Owners wishing to book the cruise should be prepared with the following information:

  • Member ID Number
  • First, second and third stateroom category choices
  • Special medical or dietary needs
  • Castaway Club Number

For each person sailing, please have the following information ready:

  • Legal name and middle initial, spelled as it appears in print on appropriate citizenship documentation
  • Physical home address
  • Home telephone number
  • Date of birth
  • Citizenship/nationality

Expect long wait times as Cast Members work to accommodate all interested members. The Disney Treasure is expected to have more than 1200 cabins. Even though this is an "all hands on deck" day for DVC, it will take several hours to confirm travel details for all trip participants.

At least one individual sailing on the cruise must be booked using Disney Vacation Club points. Additionally, points used must qualify for Disney Collection exchanges (purchased direct from DVC or via resale before March 21, 2011.) Owners must also qualify for DVC Membership Extras.

Cash payment for the balance of the cruise is due at the time of booking.

The Disney Treasure is the sixth ship in the Disney fleet. It is a Triton class vessel, similar to the Disney Wish which launched in 2022. Among its unique features are a 'Coco' themed dinner show, a Jungle Cruise themed lounge and a brand new 'Moana' stage show being produced exclusively for the vessel.

The DVC cruise is a 7-day Eastern Caribbean voyage, departing Port Canaveral on January 4 and returning on January 11, 2025. The itinerary features stops in St Thomas, Tortola and Castaway Cay, along with 3 days at sea. Point charts and cash prices can be found in our prior coverage. Note that this is not a "Member Cruise" featuring unique entertainment and stateroom gifts. However, it is an exclusive for DVC owners, offering an early look at the ship's typical high-quality accommodations and entertainment.
