On the morning of May 11, 2023, Disney Vacation Club members have a second opportunity to register for the May 23 Moonlight Magic event at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.
Registration opens at 11:00am Eastern on Thursday, May 11 for the May 23 Moonlight Magic at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon waterpark. The process utilizes a virtual queue to manage sign-ups. Members are advised to arrive in the waiting room prior to the designated start time. At 11am, all individuals in the waiting room will be assigned a random queue position. This queue position will determine whether or not the member can register for the event.

Early registration was held several weeks ago for guests who have hotel reservations on the night of the event. Advance registration is required in order to attend, and demand is expected to exceed capacity.
Moonlight Magic is a free after-hours event exclusivel for DVC members. The event includes complimentary admission to the water park with anticipated short wait times for most slides and rides, unique character encounters, free snacks and more.
Any DVC member who qualifies for Membership Extras is eligible to register. Reservations may be made for a maximum party size of 5--the member plus 4 additional guests. The qualifying DVC member must be present during the event, and able to provide both their digital DVC member card and a photo ID.
A second Typhoon Lagoon event is planned for the night of August 23, 2023. General registration for that night will take place on August 9. Each member may only register for one Moonlight Magic session per theme park in 2023.
The year's first Moonlight Magic at Disney's Hollywood Studios will take place on May 11 with a second event scheduled for September 13. Other events are planned this year for Disney's Animal Kingdom. See the full schedule for details.
