Moonlight Magic booking apparently delayed

Disney Vacation Club may not be ready to accept reservations for the Moonlight Magic evenings at Disney's Animal Kingdom after all.

Last week DVC posted details regarding the September Moonlight Magic reservation process.  Plans called for members with hotel reservations to begin booking on Thursday, June 15 while those not staying at a Disney resort could book effective June 22, 2017.  That information has since been removed from DVCMember.com and replaced with a message indicating that owners should "continue to check back for online booking details."

Technical issues which plagued many Walt Disney World websites this past weekend may have contributed to the delay.

Members may wish to check the website on June 15 to see if a link does actually go live, however it appears likely at this time.  Moonlight Magic events historically have taken several weeks to reach maximum capacity so there is little need to book immediately.  While Disney's Animal Kingdom will not be operating at peak capacity for the DVC after-hours party, it sees average attendance of nearly 30,000 guests per day.

DVCNews will update readers as additional information becomes available.
