Walt Disney World didn't exactly make a splash with its "Disney After Hours" concept in 2016 but will try again in 2017 with modified pricing and discounts for DVC members.
An evening in the Magic Kingdom with extremely limited crowds is a very attractive prospect, but earlier this year Disney learned that its guests do have a limit to their tolerance for price gouging.
"Disney After Hours" offered guests access to the most popular Magic Kingdom attractions with crowds reportedly limited to around 3000 guests. But at a price of $150 per person, most said "thanks but no thanks" to the concept. Lackluster demand lead Disney to offer free admission to a handful of Disney Vacation Club members and later half-price tickets to owners.
Trying to strike a balance between demand and profitability, Disney is giving it another shot in 2017 with modified pricing. Seven nights are planned over January - March 2017 with tickets priced at $119 for the general public and just $89 for Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders.
Scheduled nights include:
- Friday, January 20, 2017 (9:00pm to 12:00am)
- Friday, January 27, 2017 (9:00pm to 12:00am)
- Thursday, February 2, 2017 (8:00pm to 11:00pm)
- Thursday, February 9, 2017 (8:00pm to 11:00pm)
- Thursday, February 16, 2017 (8:00pm to 11:00pm)
- Thursday, March 2, 2017 (9:00pm to 12:00am)
- Thursday, March 9, 2017 (9:00pm to 12:00am)
Event ticketholders can enter the park beginning at 7pm each night.
The park promises access to more than 25 attractions including:

- Haunted Mansion
- “it’s a small world”
- Jungle Cruise
