Pushing the 2014 S.S. Member Cruise up to the end of August appears to have increased interest among Disney Vacation Club members.
According to DVCMember.com, the only availability remaining for the August 2014 exclusive member cruise is in room Categories 4, V and T. These Categories represent three of the four highest-priced cabins on the Disney Dream cruise ship. Categories 4 and V are ocean-view cabins with a verandah which sleep up to 5 guests. Category T is a 622 sq ft one bedroom suite with private sleeping quarters and a living room / dining room.
Disney Vacation Club is placing members on a waiting list for cabins in other Categories. Contact DVC Member Services for details.
Recently Disney Vacation Club has struggled to fill its chartered member-exclusive sailings. Those struggles can be attributed to the combination of two scheduled sailings in the 2013 calendar year, less-desirable January and September travel dates and larger Disney cruise ships accommodating more passengers.
The 2014 Member Cruise sales from August 24-28 aboard the Disney Dream and features two days at Disney island of Castaway Cay.
