Disney Vacation Club members have a few more months to wait before they can purchase the Tables in Wonderland discount card.
Walt Disney World's Tables in Wonderland dining discount card provides a 20% discount on most restaurant food and drink purchases including alcoholic beverages. For the past several years, Tables in Wonderland has been available only to Annual Passholders and Florida residents.
At the DVC annual meeting in December it was revealed that members would soon be eligible to purchase the Tables in Wonderland dining discount card. No specific timeline was provided for the card's availability.
According to a Disney Vacation Club spokesperson, details are still being finalized for the Tables in Wonderland offering. Current projections are that the dining card will be available for member purchase sometime in "early spring" 2012. That would place earliest card availability in the late-March / April timeframe.
Also unresolved is pricing for the dining discount card. Florida residents are charged $100 per card while passholders receive a discounted rate of $75 per card.
The Tables in Wonderland card is valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase. All food and beverage purchases at eligible restaurants are discounted by 20% for the cardholder and up to 9 additional guests on the same check. Nearly all table service restaurants at Walt Disney World accept Tables in Wonderland including Victoria & Alberts, California Grill, Cinderella's Royal Table and The Hollywood Brown Derby. Some counter service restaurants also participate, most notably ones located at Disney's Animal Kingdom including Flame Tree Barbeque, Pizzafari and Restaurontosaurus.
