During the last week of August 2024, Disney Vacation Club members have several opportunities to share their favorite ownership stories, and potentially appear in future promotional campaigns.
On the discussion forum at DVCinfo.com, member "Ruttangel" shared a note sent by Disney Vacation Club, inviting owners to stop by and share their feedback regarding Disney's timeshare program. Opportunities are provided on 4 separate days from August 23-27 at locations that include Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas and Disney's Riviera Resort. Crews will also be available during the Moonlight Magic session at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
The notice states, in part:
Members like you are what make our Disney Vacation Club family so magical – and that’s why we love hearing about your unique stories and experiences, and finding out what gives you #ThatMagicalFeeling of being a Member!
In just a few days, from August 23 – August 27, 2024, we’ll be filming testimonials at specially-selected locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort, and since you currently have a vacation planned during our filming window, we want to give you and your family an opportunity to have your Member stories captured on camera – and possibly even included in future Disney Vacation Club videos and more!
Member testimonials will be filmed, and will undoubtedly require completion of a variety of legal releases. Footage may be used in Disney promotional materials, though there is no guarantee that individual owners will be featured. There is no mention of compensation in exchange for participating.
