A 2018 restructuring of several business units within The Walt Disney Company has left Jeff Vahle as president of Disney Signature Experiences, a division which includes Disney Vacation Club.
Bob Chapek, chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products announced the move yesterday, describing Vahle as "a talented leader with a strong track record of success."
The newly-created Disney Signature Experiences role encompasses Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa. Disney previously had similar business units grouped under the heading of New Vacation Operations. Anthony Connelly was named head of that division back in early 2017 and formally took control on October 1 from the retiring Karl Holz. There is no immediate word on Connelly's fate, though there are claims he is no longer with the company.
Ken Potrock, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club will report to Vahle.
Vahle has been with The Walt Disney Company for more than 28 years. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Master of Business Administration from Rollins College.
