Formerly confined to a website and later shut down by Disney Vacation Club, the DVCapp.com room inventory search has resurfaced as a smartphone and tablet app for Apple devices.

The new application--entitled DVCapp--is now available for all iPhones, iPads and iPods running iOS 5 and higher.
The app seemingly leverages the new Resort Availability Tool at DVCMember.com to perform periodic searches of DVC villa inventory. Saved searches and alerts are just two of the unique features of the application.
Note that use of the app requires entry of an owner's DVCMember.com username and password. A disclaimer states that "This info will be securely stored on your phone, and will only ever be sent to DVCmember.com."
DVCapp is available now for free from the iTunes Store.
