Quick reminder that Disney Vacation Club Member Services will be closing at 3pm eastern TODAY (Tuesday, October 12, 2010.) Member Services will remain closed all day tomorrow and is scheduled to re-open at 9am on Thursday, October 14.
Other Disney systems including those which handle resort reservations and Advance Dining Reservations are scheduled to go down at 4pm eastern with the outage also lasting until Thursday morning. A running list of impacted systems can found HERE.
Also note that today is members' last chance to add the Disney Dining Plan to an existing reservation without having to pre-pay. When Member Services re-opens on Thursday with a new computer system in place, members will be required to pay for the Dining Plan at the time it is added to their reservation.
After the upgrade, members will still be able to add the Dining Plan--and pre-pay--as little as 48 hours prior to arrival.
