Walt Disney World has announced a seasonal pass for nearly 9 months' admission to its two waterparks, along with a reopening date for DIsney's Blizzard Beach.
Guests can now purchase a seasonal pass for unlimited admission to both Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park. Valid from now until May 23, 2025, the pass retails for $79 per adult and $73 per child, plus tax. The pass offers unlimited admission for the 8 1/2 month span for a rate slightly higher than current non-discounted single-day waterpark admission of $74 per adult and $68 per child. Qualifying DVC owners can still buy single day tickets for $49 and $43 plus tax.
Note that blockout dates apply to the seasonal pass from April 12-20, 2025. Also Walt Disney World waterparks are known to close periodically during the winter months due to cold temperatures and other inclement weather.
The waterpark seasonal pass can be purchased online at Disney's waterpark admission page.
Disney also announced that the final operating day for Typhoon Lagoon before its winter refurbishment will be November 3, 2024. Blizzard Beach will reopen on November 4 after being closed since March.
Beginning in 2025, all Disney World hotel guests will receive free waterpark admission on their arrival day. The perk is scheduled to run from January 1 to December 31, 2025. Disney Vacation Club stays are included, including renters and other guests of members and those who do not qualify for Membership Extras. In the years since the COVID-19 pandemic, Walt Disney World has not yet operated both waterparks simultaneously. It is not known if that policy will change in 2025 as a result of the free waterpark admission benefit.
