In 2008 Disney Vacation Club changed its trading company affiliation from Interval International to RCI. Interval is generally regarded as having higher quality destinations including Marriott and Four Seasons resorts. However DVC accommodations did not trade particularly well within the Interval system.
RCI has more total destinations but does not necessarily match the prestige of Interval. DVC resorts seem to trade quite well, affording owners increased odds of completing a successful trade.
