In time every Disney Vacation Club member will find himself / herself with a few unusable points.
Perhaps it was due to a last minute change of plans and the new reservation isn't an exact match with the old. Banking deadlines have passed. Or perhaps the points were already banked once and cannot be banked again.
Maybe the banking deadline was simply missed altogether and a handful of points are left--might not even be enough to book a single night.
