In keeping with timeshare industry practices, Disney Vacation Club members receive significantly less housekeeping services than Disney hotel guests. While hotel guests will find freshly made beds and vaccuumed carpets every evening, most DVC members receive little more than a clean set of towels during a weeklong stay.
The purpose behind the reduced services is to reduce ownership costs--housekeeping is funded by member Annual Dues charges.
