Disneyland Resort has set a launch date for MagicBand+ and Disney Vacation Club members benefit from early access.
MagicBand+ will officially arrive at Disneyland on October 26, 2022 but DVC members Magic Key holders and cast members are eligible to purchase beginning October 19. The band will be available in at least 18 designs, including 5 which are unique to Disneyland Resort. MagicBand+ is also available for purchase from ShopDisney.
At launch, supported MagicBand+ features are expected to include theme park tap-to-enter, Lightning Lane access and Disney PhotoPass linking. The Batuu Bounty Hunters interactive game is slated to debut at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The bands will sync with nighttime shows including "World of Color" and "Fantasmic!"
Color changing and haptic feedback will also be supported at various locations around the theme parks including Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. Additional features are planned for future release.

Disney recently launched a MagicBand+ design exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members. Pending availability, the band is presented as a pre-arrival option for guests with upcoming Disney resort reservations.
