Disney Vacation Club members will be able to book two member-exclusive voyages on Disney Cruise Line in 2015 including the first ever member sailing to Alaska.
First up is a 7-night Alaskan cruise departing Vancouver, B.C. on May 25, 2015, returning June 1, 2015. Port visits include Skagway, Juneau and Ketichikan, as well as two days at sea. The cruise promises a variety of exclusive experiences, shipboard special guests and stateroom gifts for all travelers.
August 2015 brings a 4-day cruise to the Bahamas including two visits to Castaway Cay. The Bahamian cruise sails out of Port Canaveral on August 24, returning to port on August 28, 2015. Stateroom gifts, special guests and unique entertainment will be provided.
Costs for the 7-night Alaskan cruise begin at 242 Vacation Points or $1,693 cash per person (based upon double occupancy) for a Category 11C Standard Inside Stateroom. Rates for the 4-night Bahamian cruise start at 167 points or $1,169 cash per person (double occupancy.) The full list of point and cash prices can be found HERE.
The $95 Disney Cruise Line transaction fee is waived for the initial Member Cruise booking, but will apply to any future changes or modifications to the reservation. Resale points purchased after March 21, 2011 may not be used to book any DCL voyage including Member Cruises. Additionally, owners who have not purchased points direct from DVC or via resale prior to 3/21/11 may be prohibited from paying cash for a Member Cruise.
Reservations for both 2015 sailings begin on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Due to high demand, expect long wait times to reserve a Member Cruise. It is recommended that callers be prepared to book several different stateroom options as room Categories will fill-up over the course of the day.
Callers should be prepared with the Disney Vacation Club member number, Castaway Club number, and personal information for all travelers (name, address, phone number, date of birth and citizenship information.)
Full payment is due at the time of the reservation.
Note that on June 22, Member Services will only handle calls related to the 2015 Member Cruises, as well as activity related to DVC reservations scheduled for June 22-26, 2014.
