Wilderness Lodge

As 2018 comes to a close, Disney Vacation Club’s fourteenth resort—Copper Creek Villas & Cabins—moves one step closer to its inevitable sellout.

Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa

On December 17, 2018, Disney declared more villas for the Disney Vacation Club inventory at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins.  This marks the eighth time since sales began in March 2017 that Disney has declared additional inventory for the resort.

The new inventory has five Residential Units containing 19 vacation homes:  two cabins, 15 dedicated studios, and two lock-off two-bedroom vacation homes.  One of the two-bedroom vacation homes has the alternate configuration which includes a separate living room in the studio portion of the lock-off.   All of the villas in this declaration are located on the first floor, bringing to 29 the number of dedicated studios that Copper Creek will have on its first floor.

As sales of a DVC resort progress additional capacity is gradually added to the timeshare program, making more villas available for booking by members. This latest declaration accounts for 193,620 points, bringing the number of declared points at Copper Creek to 2,869,610 points, or 86.4% of the resort’s total points.  Thus, on any given Use Day DVC members can book up to 86.4% of Copper Creek’s vacation homes using points.

There are only about 452,000 points still undeclared at Copper Creek.

161 of 184 vacation homes at Copper Creek are now declared for the DVC. Every cabin, grand villa, dedicated studio, dedicated two-bedroom villa, and lock-off two-bedroom villa is considered a vacation home.  The numbers of declared and still undeclared accommodation type are as follows:

Cabins:  24 declared; 2 not yet declared
Grand Villas:  3 declared; 1 not yet declared
Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villas:  47 declared; 9 not yet declared
Lock-off Two-Bedroom Villas:  31 declared; 5 not yet declared
Dedicated One-Bedroom Villas:  17 declared; 3 not yet declared
Dedicated Studios:  39 declared; 3 not yet declared

Included in the declared accommodations are seven studios with the larger alternate configuration that includes a living room area.  Six of the alternate studios are part of lock-off two-bedroom villas.  The is only one alternate studio that is a dedicated studio, meaning it is not attached to another villa.
