Another Declaration for Copper Creek Villas & Cabins

Just 22 days after declaring 12 vacation homes for the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney has declared another 10 vacation homes for the newest Disney Vacation Club resort.

On March 6, 2018, Disney declared five more Residential Units containing 10 vacation homes at Copper Creek for the DVC inventory. The declaration was recorded by the Orange Country Comptroller on March 16, 2018. This latest declaration increases the number of vacation homes that can be booked by DVC members using points at Copper Creek from 60 to 70. When fully declared, the resort will have 184 vacation homes. These additional vacation homes account for 204,295 DVC points, increasing the DVC inventory from 37.1% to 43.2% of the resort’s total points.

The 10 newly declared vacation homes are located on the fourth floor in the DVC wing of Wilderness Lodge facing the Boulder Ridge Cove pool. They include one dedicated one-bedroom villa, six dedicated two-bedroom villas, and three lock-off two-bedroom villas.

Its not surprising that Disney made another declaration for Copper Creek so soon after the previous declaration on February 12, 2018. Before it can sell points to the general public, Disney must first declare Residential Units for the DVC inventory. Lately, demand for Copper Creek points has been quite strong with over 250,000 points sold in the last two months. If that demand continues, Disney will have to make another declaration in the near future.
