Permit applications for work at Disney's Wildernes Lodge have been cleared by another Florida governing body.
The South Florida Water Management District has granted its approval for renovations at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Villas. The status of Disney's request with SFWMD was recently updated from "Pending" status to "Complete", clearing the way for shorline work at the property.

Subsequently, Disney filed two "Notices of Commencement" dated August 28, 2015. Addresses on the two filings correspond to the Wilderness Lodge (901 Timberline Drive) and the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge (801 Timberline Drive.)
Construction work at the Wilderness Lodge is expected tobegin in earnest on October 26, 2015. There is no word on exactly how extensively areas of the property will be impacted or the timeline for indivdual projects. However these construction notices both have a stated expiration date of August 31, 2018.
