The newest Disney Vacation Club destination was recreated using LEGO bricks to celebrate its first anniversary.
Disney's Riviera Resort is now a LEGO. Well, not a LEGO that members can purchase and build themselves. This one is a custom creation which took more than 300 hours to design and build, features more than 45,000 LEGO pieces and weighs 100 pounds.
The model recreates many of the resort's unique features including the iconic Skyliner transportation, the Riveira Pool and the "RR" emblem atop the resort tower.
Check out the video above which showcases the model's construction, as well as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse seeing the recreation for the first time.
In early 2021, the model will be installed at the DVC preview center at Disney Springs where it will remain on display for guests.
