The signature mode of transportation at Disney's Riviera Resort is set to be running when its two connected theme parks reopen.

WDWMagic.com is reporting that Disney's Skyliner will reopen on July 15.

All three lines on the Skyliner will reportedly be open, connecting EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios to four hotels including Disney's Riviera Resort. Operating hours are listed as 10am to 11pm for EPCOT and 9am to 10pm for Hollywood Studios; service begins one hour before each park's scheduled opening time and runs up to two hours after closing.

The Skyliner is arguably the mode of transportation best suited to social distancing in a COVID-19 world. Connected resorts include Riviera, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The staggered reopening of those locations lead to uncertainty regarding the Skyliner's status. Riviera is open now and Pop Century is due to reopen on July 10. However Caribbean Beach is not scheduled to make its debut until July 29 and Art of Animation on August 12.

Ferry boats were recently spotted running on the Seven Seas Lagoon in preparation for the Magic Kingdom's reopening. Other forms of transportation expected to be running include buses and monorails, all with new social distancing measures in place.
