An article in the Washington Business Journal takes a look at progress within the National Harbor development outside of Washington DC.
The story outlines other planned additions to National Harbor including a 350-unit apartment complex, 423 condominiums and nearly 100 town houses and single family homes.
Meanwhile, no progress has been made on Disney's development as they have been focusing on the Aulani resort in Hawai'i:
"The planned Disney resort is still on hold while the company tests the concept at its 21-acre "Aulani" resort in Hawaii. That park on the coast of Oahu will open in 2011. Disney's plans at National Harbor would include a 500-room hotel on 15 acres that it has purchased for $11 million."
