The childrens' water play area at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort will be closed for several weeks to complete scheduled maintenance.
Website MousePlanet.com reports that the water play area at Bay Lake Tower's Bay Cove Pool closed yesterday and will remain unavailable through February 28, 2014 for renovations. Upon arrival at the resort, incoming guests will receive the following notice regarding the closure:

We are thrilled you have chosen to stay with us at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort!
In order for our resort to continue to flourish as a magical destination, it is necessary for us to make enhancements from time to time.
Beginning Monday, February 10, our children's water play area will be temporarily unavailable. Please pardon any work you may see or hear in progress.
During this time we invite you to make a splash at the enchanting and exclusive Bay Cove Pool or visit the two pools at the adjacent Disney's Contemporary Resort.
