Skyliner Maintenance Planned for Late January

WDW Transportation News

Each of the three lines on Disney's Skyliner will have single-day closures during the last week of January 2021, impacting transportation for guests staying at Disney's Riviera Resort and the EPCOT area destinations.

Maintenance will be performed over the next several days, impacting the Skyliner and each of the destinations it services. Each spur on the Skyliner route will close for a day during the coming week:

Sunday, January 24: The line connecting Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort to the main station at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed.

Tuesday, January 26: The line connecting the Caribbean station to Disney's Hollywood Studios will be closed.

Thursday, January 28: The line connecting Caribbean to EPCOT's International Gateway will be closed. This includes the station at Disney's Riviera Resort

Guests would consider how these closures will impact their transportation needs. On Tuesday, Riviera guests and those staying at resorts like Disney's Beach Club Villas and Disney's BoardWalk Villas will be unable to use the Skyliner to reach Hollywood Studios. On Thursday, the closure of the entire EPCOT line will leave those resort guests unable to reach either theme park from nearby stations. However, Riviera guests could opt to walk to the main Caribbean Beach station for transport to Hollywood Studios

Additional bus service will be added during the closures. The Skyliner is expected to resume normal operations on Thursday, 1/28.
