Ticket prices increase August 5th

WDW Theme Park News

The cost of theme park tickets for Walt Disney World and Disneyland is set to increase on Thursday August 5, 2010. But Disney Vacation Club members still have time to save on their Walt Disney World Annual Passes.

The Disney Parks Blog has information regarding the price increases which go into effect on August 5th.  The price increases will impact most park tickets including multi-day Magic Your Way passes and Annual Passes to both resorts.  MousePlanet.com has assembled charts showing the updated pricing for all Walt Disney World and Disneyland tickets.

Note that Disney Vacation Club members can still save by purchasing Annual Pass vouchers for Walt Disney World before the prices increase.  Visit the Walt Disney World Ticket Store to visit pass vouchers with the DVC discount applied.  Vouchers will not be activated--and the year's worth of park admission will not begin--until they are redeemed at a theme park Guest Relations window.

Other park passes can also be purchased from Disney at pre-increase prices through August 4th.  Additionally, some third-party ticket vendors may hold the lower prices for a few days after Disney increases its rates.
