A new permit was recently filed to perform refurbishment work at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
The permit, dated July 20, 2008, includes the following discription of work that will be performed on the site:
General demolition, finish carpentry, sealants & caulking, painting, modification of Jacuzzi tub surround and low kitchen counter, reupholser of select existing upholstered furniture, refinishing/touch-up of select existing items, assembly & modification of new FF&E [furniture, fixtures & equipment], installation of carpet & base.
The expiration date on the permit is listed as November 19, 2008, suggesting that whatever work Disney has planned should be complete before the start of the busy holiday season.
