Following this summer's tragic alligator attack, Walt Disney World embarked on a months-long project to erect barriers to insulate most of its beaches from nearby bodies of water. Here is a look at the fencing now in place alongside Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Similar barriers have also been added at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and other properties.
