Disney is working to address problems with the air conditioning systems in the waterfront units at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

As the Disney Vacation Club bungalows at the Polynesian Village Resort wind down their second summer of operations, Disney is taking steps to address complaints regarding the interior temperature of those watertop villas. While waiting for a permanent replacement for the bungalows' climate control systems, additional air conditioners have been added to the master bedroom of each bungalows.
In order to accommodate the added air conditioners, the door leading from the master bedroom to the bungalow's private deck has been temporary sealed. In its place is a wall panel with a window-style air condioner to assist in cooling the room.
To compensate for the inconvenience, bungalow guests will receive free daily housekeeping until the final room modifications are complete.

Aloha and Welcome Home!
We are delighted you have chosen to spend your vacation at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
Before your arrival, we would like to make you aware that we are experiencing intermittent challenges with the air conditioning in our bungalows. We have added temporary air conditioning units to the master bedrooms that helps bring the rooms to a comfortable temperature until a permanent solution can be implemented.
We apologize for this inconvenience and are committed to providing a wonderful experience. Therefore, we will offer a daily housekeeping service and will be waiving the associated fee during your stay.
