Reminder that Wednesday, June 12 is the second—and likely final—opportunity to book Moonlight Magic at Disney's Animal Kingdom in 2019.
Moonlight Magic at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be presented on the nights of Thursday, July 18, Thursday, August 8 and Thursday, August 22, 2019. The events provide DVC members with complimentary after-hours access to the park, with reduced wait time for most attractions. Also featured are unique character meet-and-greet opportunities, free refreshments, a DJ dance party and more.
Reservations for all three Animal Kingdom dates will go live beginning at 9:00am Eastern on Wednesday, June 12. Click HERE to be redirected to the event sign-up page. In 2019, Disney Vacation Club began using a new virtual queue system, which seems to have streamlined the registration process.
Events run from 9:30pm to midnight on all three evenings. Admission time has not been revealed but in years past, members have been able to enter the park as early as 7:00pm using their Moonlight Magic credentials. Members booking without a hotel reservation can secure up to four spots at an event for the member plus three guests. Those with Walt Disney World hotel reservations can book Moonlight Magic for the party size listed on their reservation. Members are limited to one Moonlight Magic event per theme park in 2019. Capacity is limited and registration is required. A DVC member ID card and photo ID must be presented upon arrival.
The next events in the Moonlight Magic series are planned for the nights of September 18 and October 16, 2019 at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park. Reservations will open on August 14 for hotel guests and August 28 for others.
