Disney After Hours Expands to Two New Parks

Member Benefits and Perks

The late-night "Disney After Hours" ticketed events are set to expand to two additional parks with discounts for Disney Vacation Club members.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

In December, Disney After Hours will expand to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios, joining the Magic Kingdom to offer limited access to park attractions for an added fee.

Disney After Hours offers attendees at least 3 hours of exclusive access to headliner theme park attractions. Though priced separately from regular daytime admission, a cap on ticket sales promises guests will have little trouble experiencing their favorite attractions with little-to-no wait.

Evenings announced for each park are as follows:

Disney's Hollywood Studios:  December 8, 15 and 22, 2018; January 5, 12 and 19, 2019; February 2, 9 and 16, 2019; March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2019; April 6 and 13, 2019

Disney's Animal Kingdom: December 4, 12 and 18, 2018; January 8, 16, 22 and 31, 2019; February 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 26, 2019; March 5, 20 and 27, 2019; April 3, 2019

Among the details not yet revealed are park hours for each date, theme park attractions available or additional entertainment. For similar events at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, free beverages and snacks have been provided to attendees including popcorn, ice cream novelties, soda and bottled water. For these two new events, Disney has only stated that select food and beverage locations will remain open for purchases.

Tickets are priced at $125 per person for advance purchase and $129 for same day purchase. Disney Vacation Club owners and Annual Passholders can purchase discounted passes for $95 each. Tickets will be available beginning on November 15.

Disney After Hours debuted at the Magic Kingdom in 2016. Initial response was lukewarm, but reception appears to have improved following a series of tweaks and price adjustments. Tickets are currently available for a series of late nights at the Magic Kingdom through early March 2019.
