Never heard of Disney Movie Rewards? Well, it's time to check it out.
Disney Movie Rewards is a program that awards points for viewing Disney films in theaters, and for buying Disney DVDs and Blu-Ray DVDs. DVDs produced within the last couple of years have an insert with codes that can be plugged in at DisneyMovieRewards.com. The codes allow members to accumulate points, which are ultimately redeemed for a selection of items ranging from T-shirts to posters to collectible figurines.
Those who see Disney films in theaters can send in their ticket stubs to receive points as well.
One of the items currently available which may interest DVC members is a Disney Vacation Club Pin Set with Lanyard. DisneyMovieRewards.com describes the set as follows:
You'd visit Disney Vacation Club information centers in Florida, California, and on Disney Cruise Line to collect these pins, some of which are no longer available! Each one features a Disney character with commemorative back-stamp. Lanyard included.
There are six pins in total, each featuring different Disney characters wtih the familiar "Heard the best kept Disney Secret?" tagline. The pin set and lanyard is currently available at a cost of 1,050 reward points.
