In September, direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points continued the steady pace that has been seen in 2016. Excluding sales for Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas and the Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort, 155,666 Disney Vacation Club points were sold in September 2016, which is slightly above the 153,595 points that sales have averaged since January 2016.

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows — In September 2016, 133,430 points were sold for the Polynesian. This represents a slight 2.7% increase over the 129,874 points the resort has averaged in monthly sales so far in 2016. However, it represents a significant 42.4% increase over the 76,867 points the resort averaged each month throughout 2015.
The Polynesian has now sold 2,023,873 points, which is slightly over half of its 4,032,720 total points. At its current rate of sales, it will take about 15 months, or until December 2017, before the Polynesian is sold out.
Disney Vacation Development has declared 218 studios and 16 bungalows for the DVC inventory. There are still 142 studios and 4 bungalows that have not yet been declared. In terms of points, 2,535,836 points (62.88%) is now officially part of the Polynesian’s DVC inventory. It is quite likely that Disney Vacation Development will make another declaration for the Polynesian within the next month.
Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas — Aulani’s sales data for September 2016 is not yet available. However, in August 2016 it sold 48,315 points.
Although the August sales total is close to the 49,323 points Aulani has averaged in 2016, it is well below the 72,509 points the resort averaged in 2015.
The sales data includes all nine DVC resorts at Walt Disney World, as well as Disney's Vero Beach Resort, Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort, and Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas. Point sales data is not available for the Villas at Disney's Grand California Hotel. The data is compiled from deeds filed by Disney Vacation Development and recorded with the Orange County (FL) Comptroller, the Indian River County (FL) Clerk of Court, the Beaufort County (SC) Register of Deeds, and the Hawaii Bureau of Conveyances.
