A number of Disney Vacation Club perks and services are impacted by the July 4th holiday, including access to a popular member night spot.
DVC Member Services, Member Administration and Member Accounting will be closed all day on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in observance of Independence Day. During the closure, members may use DVCMember.com to make and cancel reservations, bank points and perform other tasks supported by the site.
All DVC offices will re-open at 9am on Friday, July 5.
Pool hopping privileges are suspended from June 30 - July 6, 2019. During this period, members may only utilize pools located at the resort where they have a confirmed DVC points reservation.
Reminder that pool hopping is never permitted at Bay Cove Pool at Bay Lake Tower, Stormalong Bay and the Beach Club quiet pool at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts as well as all pools at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
Access to the Top of the World Lounge located at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is limited to Bay Lake resort guests only on the nights of July 3, 2019. On July 4, Top of the World Lounge is available only to members with tickets for a private dining event. On most other nights, the lounge is open during evening hours for members and their guests staying at any DVC resort.
DVC "Membership Magic" discount perks are subject to blockout dates throughout the year. Disney Vacation Club no longer publishes a comprehenisve list of blockout dates, stating only that members perks are not available on dates "including, but not limited to, Christmas and New Year's Day." Members may wish to check with a Disney Cast Member to inquire regarding the availability of member discounts, particularly on Thursday, 7/4.
Finally, all restaurant discounts and the free valet parking perk associated with the Tables In Wonderland program are blocked-out on Thursday, July 4.
