With 11 month reservations set to begin in late January, Disney Vacation Club has published the 2016 calendar year Points Charts for all twelve current DVC resorts.

In comparison to the 2015 charts, few changes have been made for the DVC properties. Most locations only saw seasonal adjustments based upon the calendar date of holidays including Christmas and Thanksgiving. However an exception can be found in Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas where more extensive modifications occurred.
Most noteworthy, the resort underwent dramatic adjustments to its seasonal distribution:
- Adventure Season increases from 84 days to 117 days (+33 days)
- Choice Season decreases from 134 days to 115 days (-19 days)
- Magic Season decreases from 102 days to 51 days (2016 includes leap day of 2/29/2016) (-51 days)
- Premier Season increases from 45 days to 83 days (+38 days)
At Aulani, July and the first half of August has shifted from the Magic Season to the more expensive Premier Season. Most of the days between Thanksgiving and Christmas have shifted from the Choice Season to the cheaper Adventure Season.
Other changes to specific accommodation types are scattered throughout the charts. Some dates / types went down a single point per night while others went up a point. For example, a Standard View Grand Villa in Adventure Season increased from 95 to 96 points per night while nine other room types went down one point per night during the same season.
The Magic Season Hotel Room went down from 20 to 18 - the only type to change by more than one point.
