Lutheran Minister Wins DVC Prize

On Monday morning Rev. Ken Edenhauser discovered that he won the grand prize in a recent "Live with Regis and Kelly" promotion.  Now he just needs to figure out what to do with it.

Edenhauser was one of 103 individuals to qualify for the grand prize drawing.  In January he was chosen to participate in "Live's" Trivia A-Sno-Go contest , and was subsequently entered in the drawing for the Disney Vacation Club grand prize.

On March 24, Edenhauser received the call from Regis and Joy Philbin informing him that he had won the prize.

With the prize touted as 49-year ownership in the Disney Vacation Club, it would appear Edenhauser will receive points at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.  According to an article in the Chippewa Herald (Chippewa Falls, WI), Edenhauser is anxious to find out more about his new prize.

Representatives from the show will be mailing the details of the prize to Edenhauser within the next few days.

He would like to figure out the part about the 49 years because at 64 years old, he’s not sure he has another 49 years left.

“They asked how old I was, and I said 64, and they laughed, of course, because the prize is for 49 years,” Edenhauser said.

In the meantime, Rev. Edenhauser is enjoying his time as a local celebrity while he and his wife look forward to using their new Disney Vacation Club points.
