The new EPCOT attraction is reportedly on track for official previews in May with Disney Vacation Club members expected to participate.
Website WDWMagic.com is reporting that Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is moving toward official previews in early May 2022. In recent years, Disney has scheduled official preview dates for targeted groups of park guests including D23 members, Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members.
Most recently, DVC owners were given the opportunity to preview Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in advance of its official opening. Three days of DVC previews were scheduled in September 2021, leading up to its October 1 debut. The event was available exclusively to members staying at DVC resorts on preview dates. Members must also qualify for DVC Membership Extras in order to participate.
In recent months, Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley has provided a series of Cosmic Rewind updates via his Instagram account. In February, Disney Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Geoff Morrell referenced a Memorial Day official opening via social media. Those posts were quickly deleted, and Disney has not offered any additional details regarding its opening.
