Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be able to attend soft openings before the theme parks' official reopening in July, and there are reports of Disney Vacation Club owners participating, too.

On Friday, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings confirmed that Walt Disney World had received state approval to proceed with its reopening plans beginning on July 11, 2020.

Due to required attendance limits, Disney is implementing a park reservation system which will require guests to secure entry days or weeks in advance of their visit. Passholders are being warned that park attendance caps may lead to difficulties entering the park on certain days:

During the limited capacity period, it may be difficult for Annual Passholders to get park reservations to visit on certain dates. To help manage capacity, total reservation days held at one time will be limited. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.

Disney is planning a "special Passholder preview opportunity" before the official park reopenings on July 11 and July 15. Additional details, as well as the sign-up process, will be shared in the coming weeks.

Information provided to a group of Cast Members indicates that previews will also be offered to Disney Vacation Club members. DVC has not yet provided any confirmation.

The eleven Disney Vacation Club Resorts at Walt Disney World will reopen on June 22, ninteen days before the official reopening of the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney's Vero Beach Resort open one week earlier on June 15.
