On July 3, 2019, Disney Vacation Club members can enjoy a private party with reserved fireworks viewing, a lineup of sweet treats and more.
The Independence Day Dessert Party is one of the more popular member exclusives, offering fireworks viewing, food and activities for a relatively modest price. Hosted on July 3rd at Disney's Contemporary Resort, participants will enjoy an unspecified lineup of "fair food and picnic treats", carnival games, kids' activities and more. Dessert selections at the 2018 party included Flourless Chocolate Cake, Boston Cream Pie and Mississippi Mud Pie.
Early activities are hosted in the Fantasia Ballroom. Later in the evening the party moves outdoors where attendees will enjoy a private viewing area for the night's special Fourth of July fireworks celebration taking place above the Magic Kingdom.
The party runs from 7:15 to 9:15pm and is priced at $42 per person. Discounts and dining plan credits do not apply.
Group size is limited to the member plus up to 7 additional guests. Members must be eligible for Membership Magic. A Disney Vacation Club card plus photo ID are required upon arrival.
