Today DVC unveiled a new discount program for those buying into the program for the first time. The previous incentives of $8 off at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and $10 off at Saratoga Springs Resort are still in place. However, those who are able to provide the name of an existing DVC member will get a little bit extra.
A new DVC purchase incentive has emerged in conjunction with the Chase Disney Visa card. Disney Visa cardholders are eligible to receive 500 Disney Visa reward points (valued at $500) for buying into the Disney Vacation Club.

Reminder that this Friday, August 31st is the final day to get double Developer’s Points with a DVC purchase or add-on. DVC has not announced and ending date for the promotion, but inside sources report that they will quietly pull the plug after 8/31. No word on what discount programs may begin on 9/1.
